A 90-minute Mini-Retreat
From an early age, each of us develops strategies for finding love, safety, belonging & control. Over time, these patterns can become so familiar that we mistake them for our deepest identity—and lose touch with who we are beneath them.
Drawing from Thomas Keating’s teaching on the true self & false self, this mini-retreat will explore the relationship between ego & essence through contemplative practice and the Enneagram’s three centers of intelligence: mind, heart & body.
Together, we’ll explore how the ego can become a trusted servant on the spiritual journey rather than its master.
Join to explore how to:
Recognize the strategies shaping your thoughts, relationships & reactions, especially in moments of stress or uncertainty
Cultivate three-centered awareness through mind, heart & body, opening new pathways to presence & self-understanding
Meet the ego with compassion & loosen your identification with habitual patterns, remembering who you are beneath them
Keith Kristich is the founder of Closer Than Breath, a writer, retreat leader & teacher of meditation and the Enneagram. Trained through Contemplative Outreach & the Shalem Institute, he helps people unlearn rigid religion, reimagine the Divine & see God everywhere.
Logan Jones serves as Enneagram Lead for Closer Than Breath and lead host of the Contemplative Enneagram Summit. Certified through the Narrative Enneagram & Awareness to Action, and trained in spiritual direction through the RUAH School, he helps people see their patterns clearly, grow in awareness & live from who they truly are.
No prior experience with the Enneagram is needed—only a willingness to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion.
